Joanne Fedeyko is an expert in innovating through collaboration. She serves as the CEO of Connection Silicon Valley, an organization that helps companies collaborate, innovate, and partner with Silicon Valley’s world-renowned technology ecosystem. Connection SV’s first geographic focus is driving innovation in Canada with sector focuses in fintech, retail and life sciences.
Prior to Connections SV, Joanne served as Executive Director of the C100 Association where she grew an extensive network in tech across Canada and in the Valley. At the C100, Joanne launched a program called Valley 101, along with a co-working space for early stage founders, to help democratize access to Silicon Valley.
Joanne is particularly passionate about driving innovation through diversity. She is the Founder of the Canadian Women’s Network in Silicon Valley, whose mission is to support female founders and women in tech scale their business, drive economic growth and bring foreign investment dollars into Canadian companies through active engagement and participation of the network. Joanne also manages theboardlist in Canada, a curated marketplace that matches emerging talent with public and private board service.
Joanne speaks regularly on building networks, fundraising and women in tech. She is a Founding Member of CELS, Canadian Entrepreneurs in Life Sciences, an organization supporting the advancement of Canadian life science technology businesses in the San Francisco Bay area, and is an advisor to a number of startups and initiatives in Canada.
Joanne grew up in the small town of High Level in Alberta, and although she moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1999, she remains proudly Canadian.
