Melodie Pardoe

Melody Pardoe is Chief Operating Officer of VoltaLabs, the leading technology hub in Atlantic Canada. She has over 13 years of combined business management and entrepreneurial experience and studied business management at Dalhousie University. In 2014, she Co-founded Hoist, a monthly tech club that teaches teens about coding, design and entrepreneurship which has recently expanded with a new chapter. In 2015 Melody launched Women Taking over the World with Tech, a provincial women in technology program, and was the Atlantic Canada Co-Chapter Lead of the SheEO movement to promote investment in female-led ventures. She was named a 2015 Agent of Change by Business Voice Magazine for her contributions to the provincial economic ecosystem. Melody is an Advisor with Venture for Canada, Junior Achievement and a mentor with the EduNovaprogram. She is passionate about growing Canada’s innovation economy through community development.
